Sanford Fargo Hospice Volunteer Opportunities
Fargo Sanford Hospice offers hospice volunteer opportunities to people from all backgrounds. Join our volunteer team to find a rewarding experience in helping patients find comfort and peace. Volunteers work in the patient’s home, the hospice office or the Sanford Hospice House. Our opportunities let volunteers choose the position that’s right for them and their unique skill set.
We train our volunteers to help them feel comfortable in their roles. They get training in patient communication and care. We make sure our volunteers have a basic understanding of their patient’s condition. Volunteers do not take part in any hands-on care, including bathing, feeding or moving the patient.
Choose from a variety of volunteer opportunities to find what best fits your talents and schedule so that you can best serve others. No matter your abilities, you can provide relief and peace to others through end of life care. Learn about our opportunities below.
