Appointments and lab orders are required
Patients seeking a COVID-19 test can call their primary care provider, call My Sanford Nurse or complete an e-visit through My Sanford Chart to review symptoms and obtain a lab test order.

COVID-19 Vaccine Information
A mass vaccine clinic will be held at the Sanford Imagenetics building every Saturday through the month of October, from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Flu vaccines, including high-doses for those 65 and older, will also be available.

The Sanford Imagenetics building in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, opened in 2017. It is home to the Sanford Genetics Laboratory, Imagenetics community lectures and the administrative office for the Imagenetics initiative.

Genetic Counseling & Clinical Genetics

We provide counseling to people of all ages to help you understand your genes' impact on your body, mind and family. Our genetic counselors will help you understand how family history, personal history and other risk factors influence health and disease risk. Our physicians are trained genetics specialists who diagnose and treat genetic conditions.

Internal Medicine: Primary Care for Adults

From age 18 on, you can seek primary health care from an internal medicine provider. See this team for routine physicals, wellness checkups and medication management. You can also see an internist for gastrointestinal issues, heart disease, vascular disease, thyroid disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and cholesterol screenings.

Dialysis Center at Sanford Imagenetics

The Sioux Falls Dialysis Center is located on the ground level of the Sanford Imagenetics Building. Enter from the south side of the building. Our spacious patient areas provide plenty of natural light and heated massage chairs.

Patient Laboratory Services

A Sanford Laboratories patient service center is located on the first floor of the Sanford Imagenetics Building. Enter from the north side of the building. Please check in with the registration desk as you enter the building. Our phlebotomy team specializes in conducting quality lab work while making your experience as painless and private as possible.

Genetics Laboratory Services

The Sanford Medical Genetics Laboratory is located on the ground level of the Sanford Imagenetics building. It provides clinical genetic testing and houses over 20 pieces of equipment. Equipment in the lab is able to extract DNA, examine chromosomes, sequence genes and more. The lab has Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) certification, which is a U.S. federal regulatory standard.

Join Us for Our Genetics Lecture Series

Learn how genetics plays a major role in your health at our Exploring Genetics series featuring a specific area of genetic medicine each month. Lectures are held the second Tuesday of each month of the academic school year from 7-8 p.m. on the stairs of the Sanford Imagenetics Courtyard.
