A Specialist in Children’s Palliative Care

Dr. Daniel Mark specializes in palliative care for children. He helps patients and families with medical decision-making, difficult-to-manage symptoms and setting goals of care.

He is part of the PRISM Team, which stands for Pain Relief, Integrative medicine, Support and Management of symptoms. This team meets with children and families at the Sanford Children’s Hospital and Sanford Children's Specialty Clinic.

With the PRISM Team, Dr. Mark supports children and families going through prolonged hospitalizations, difficult diagnoses or periods of medical unknowns. 

He also serves as an assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of South Dakota.
