Mark Lundeen, MD

Experience & Research

Dr. Lundeen has been involved in basic science research in training and has spent over 30 years as a practicing clinician. He is involved in several outcome research studies.

He served as a team physician for the World Cup Ski Team from 1985 to 2005, team physician of the Olympic Festival, team physician of Olympic World Championships and team physician of 1992 Winter Olympic Games.

He also served as an oral examiner for the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Idea of Care

Whether I’m doing a ligament reconstruction in a young injured athlete, establishing appropriate ligament balance in a total knee replacement or a revision of a previous knee replacement, I find it challenging and interesting. I’ve been doing knee surgery as a primary focus since 1980.

Personal Interests

Dr. Lundeen is married and has two children. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing and cutting horse competitions.
