A Neonatal Care Specialist

Dr. Kathryn Anderson specializes in all procedures and medical interventions required to care for premature and full-term infants in the neonatal intensive care unit. She treats a wide range of neonatal conditions and provides care for patients from extremely fragile, pre-term infants to healthy, full-term babies. She can perform delivery room resuscitations of newborns. Her goal is to optimize the care of babies immediately after they are born.

Idea of Care

As a neonatologist, I interact with families at an extremely vulnerable time in their lives - the birth of their baby. I believe it is important to care for newborns using evidence-based medicine and cutting edge technology. I will care for the baby and his or her family throughout their NICU stay. I have a special interest in family-centered care, and I focus on encouraging breastfeeding and family bonding whenever possible.

Personal Interests

Dr. Anderson enjoys spending time with her friends and family, especially her husband and daughter.
